Here's a sample of what our students had to say after the Florida Bar Examination:
"Well, my overwhelming thought
is that there was nothing there I didn’t expect, and that’s a good thing. I
knew it would be tiring, the FL multiple choice would be obnoxious, and the
multistate would be an endurance test as much as an knowledge test, but I felt
pretty well-prepared. Certainly, your sample FL multiple choice questions
were very indicative of what I saw and I got the impression that many of the
folks really didn’t have a good idea of what to expect from those.
The essays were fair and I didn’t have any trouble finishing them in three
hours.
I thought the FL bar examiners continued their mind games and in-state bias
right through the exam—when you got to the Convention Center, there were all
these confusing lines going everywhere and no one was there directing anything.
Turns out one line was for checking stuff you couldn’t take into the room, one
was laptop registration, and one was the actual line to get into the testing
area. But the confusion just added to everyone’s anxiety, I think.
Then at lunchtime, there was very little to choose from if you were not a FL law
school alumnae or alumnus who was treated to a catered lunch courtesy of your
school. All they had were two little kiosks, both with ridiculously long lines
and not much selection. And one of the convention center people actually told a
woman that she couldn’t bring in a sub from Publix! They have several little
food places in the convention center, but none were open.
Your course, which I thought was quite thorough, was very strong on
representative material, and very strong on support when needed."
"I was able to outline the essays very well using your methodology and pray that all essays will pass muster. The multiple choice is always difficult but you highlighted enough Florida distinctions to assist in a lot of questions that were repetitive and asked for the same answer 10 different ways. Thanks for all your help. Of all the bar reviews I have ever come across, this by far was the best at preparation and quality."
"The essays were not as bad as
I thought they would be. The multiple choice on the FL section was brutal, but
it always is, so whatever. The MBE was
really hard, but that's to be expected as well. I don't know how I did, but I
do feel like I was a lot more prepared for this one. Thanks for all of your
help and awesome materials."
"I have to thank you for all the little "tips" that you gave along the way, such as where and when to book the hotel and what to expect at the testing center. It sure gave me a step ahead of the rest of the group. People kept asking why a moving truck was parked at the front of the room!! Most people I spoke with had no idea of how the exam was even graded! Thank you again for everything. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to take the Florida exam. Working full-time with two toddlers, you made this a very manageable task, even though it was not a pleasant one. You truly have been a blessing. I look forward to hearing the results in September and bringing you good news."
