Here's what Jackson wrote to our Georgia students prior to the exam:
"I think the timing is right for both a Con Law and a Dom Rel essay. If I had to pick a longshot, it would be Evidence..."
Our students told us:
"...you were right on
target with the outlines...very thorough...I was prepared..."
"...Jackson, you are a genius..."
"You were right on the mark!
"
"You are an AMAZING
Teacher!"
"You don't always get what you pay for, but in this
instance I certainly did receive my money's worth, and I thank you. You
delivered a finely tuned Georgia Bar Review machine. The rest was up to
me..."
"Good news -- I passed. You were right to be skeptical of my cynicism. Your
prediction was also right about the subject matter for the exam. Come to think
of it -- you were right on just about everything. Thanks for all of your help,
your wisdom, your encouragement and your concern." M.S. PASSED July

not have done it without
Celebration Bar Review and your ability"

From a July 2004 Georgia bar taker: "I would just like to say that I really
appreciated the words of advice/wisdom leading up to the exam. The messages gave
me inspiration for the exam. I would also like to say that you
were dead on with the predictions. I studied all the subjects, but I
put a bit more emphasis on the ones you had predicted might be on the exam.
Con Law, Crim Law, GA Civ Pro, and Family Law." And that's EXACTLY what we predicted!
"A great positive of the course is that it's a home
study program, which allows you to save time from
commuting as well as provide great flexibility for the
time of day to study.
The feedback aspect is also unique from any
other bar preparation programs.
Lastly, believe Jackson when he advises you to
have all substantive studying completed no later than
2 weeks before the exam. The course really comes
together in the 2 weeks before the exam, when you are
completing the review questions. Just keep on
answering the review questions, over and over, (after
you listen to all the tapes) and you will pass. I
did, (the first time)."

Essay Topic Changes Announced:
The Georgia Board of Bar Examiners issued a statement that the testable subjects for the Essay part of the exam had been changed.
Six subjects have been dropped from the list: Agency and Partnership; Corporations; Remedies; Damages; Conflict of Laws; and Federal Taxation. Business Organizations and Non-Monetary Remedies have been added to the list.
Here's our analysis: this is good news! There are fewer subjects to prepare for the exam and the two "new" subjects are really just sub-sets of existing broader topics. Our editors are reviewing the announced changes and will make adjustments to our outlines as necessary.
The new rules allow attorneys in active practice of law for 5 of the last 7 years to waive into Georgia. There are a number of restrictions so be certain to check the specific language of the rule. Note that the rule only applies to Attorneys from jurisdictions that "have comity...with the State of Georgia" (i.e., reciprocity).
