Special Notice for NJ Exam TakersExam Change Notice from the NJ Board of Bar Examiners:

With the approval of the Supreme Court, the Board of Bar Examiners has decided to end its use of the Multistate Performance Test (MPT).  In lieu of the MPT, the Bar Examiners are adding a seventh essay question, which will deal with civil procedure issues.  The change took effect with the July 2005 bar examination.

All essay questions will continue to have equal value.  The essay examination will consist of four essays in the morning session (a total of three hours) and three essays in the afternoon session (two hours and fifteen minutes).

Celebration Bar Review's NJ Course reflects the additional subject with lectures, outlines and practice questions.

Beginning with the July 2005 Exam, the Multistate and NJ Essay Portions of the Exam will each count for 50% of the overall grade.
