I was going to share this story with you right after it happened, but I didn't want to re-live the experience any more than I had to...during the afternoon session of the NY exam, after I had completed the MPT and was towards the beginning of the Torts essay my laptop froze.  The screen went blue and the whole thing rebooted.  I had two options, panic or start writing.  The little Jackson inside my head told me to keep calm and in a time of great stress I was able to do just that.  I took a deep breath, notified the proctor of the problem and started writing.  I finished most of the Torts Essay and the final essay by hand without losing really any time from the computer meltdown.  After the exam one of the people sitting behind me, who had noticed what had happened, commented on my ability to stay calm and not freak out after the technical difficulties."
