"I just wanted to drop a note to let you know I passed the July exam. This year has been extremely difficult for me - I was in a severe accident with a terrible head injury in February, numerous stresses at work related to the economy and the future of my business, and then I became pregnant in May (which didn't make it any easier to study for this exam). Given all those obstacles, I truly did not believe I would be able to pass. Your course enabled me to do so, however! The daily messages were inspirational and kept me going. The organizational structure of the course enables a working individual to do the work at their own pace but still remain on track. The lectures and practice questions were the best! "Don't know if you hear it often enough,
but Thank You. I am still in touch with my graduating class and they share tips
and techniques about the bar and study. Seems to me more like the blind leading
the blind.
I noticed that as we get closer, some of the posts are, well, out there. Amazing
lists of stuff they are memorizing in case they are asked a particular question
in an essay, lists of exceptions, lists of rules, lists of objection types,
lists of everything. Memorization and more memorization.
Thank you for reminding me that I have a brain, and I really do know how to use
it, I just needed to be reminded. Thank you for reminding me that law is about
common sense, not issue spotting. Thank you for making that realization fit
into a study pattern. It reduces the anxiety of the exam significantly when you
know that you don't have to memorize everything, you just need to think through
the problem from both perspectives.
